The Panchase Hill Trek is the best short and easy trip that revolves around Pokhara. The wonderful trek starts and ends in the capital city of tourism: Pokhara. The trekkers will be offered with the closer view of the Mountains, cultural experience of various ethnic groups, undamaged biodiversity and several natural heritages to explore. The Panchase Hill Trek allows the trekkers to get lost in the nature mixed with the local culture. The trek starts with boating across the beautiful Phewa Lake. The trek will take the trekkers through the subtropical valleys with paddy and banana farming.
Panchase also a hidden gem of Annapurna is one of the hill stations of Nepal. It also has a religious importance for the Hindu people. The summit of the peak (2500 m) provides the best view of the Annapurna massif. In addition, the Panchase trek offers you with the amazing views of the Machhapuchhare, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Lamjung and Manaslu.
The trekkers will see the mixed traditions of Brahmins, Chhetries, Magar and Gurung along their way to the top. The rarely visited trail is quite easy and thus is suitable for everyone. The trek is a perfect destination if one wants to go for a family hike with their kids, and elderly people.
DAY 1 – ARRIVE KATHMANDU
We will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. You may relax or explore until the group meets at dinner.
DAY 2 – TOUR AROUND KATHMANDU
After breakfast, you venture out for the full day sightseeing (6-7 hours) in a fascinating medieval city, its streets, bazaars, temples, shrines and Buddhist stupas are crowded with peoples of every creed, color and race. Rickshaws, taxis and hooting motorists create that special atmosphere that Kathmandu is so famous for.
We make a visit to the Swayambhunath Temple (also known as the Monkey Temple). The temple lies on the top of the hill and provides the beautiful view of the Kathmandu city from above. The Durbar Square lying in the heart of the city is our next destination. This is where the Kumari is. Many of Kathmandu’s most historic and important temples are located here.
Next you will drive to Patan, once a beautiful city in its own right which rivaled Kathmandu in terms of the splendor of its temples and squares. You cross a bridge over the Bagmati River that links Kathmandu with the city of Patan, its neighbor to the south. Patan has more excellent architecture and has long been a centre of Newari craftsmanship. There will also be time to purchase any last minute supplies for the mountains.
DAY 3 – DRIVE FROM KATHMANDU TO POKHARA 5-6 HOURS DRIVE
We will drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara in a private vehicle. Pokhara is 204.5 km away from Kathmandu and thus it will take 5 to 6 hours to reach there. The drive provides the scenic views of mountains, rivers, green hills and small tea houses. Upon reaching Pokhara, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can take some time to fresh up.
Since you will reach Pokhara in early evening, you will still have some time to roam around the beautiful Pokhara valley. You can enjoy the boat trip on the beautiful Phewa Lake in the evening. An evening in Pokhara will provide the amazing mixture of the local and the western culture. The lake side of the Pokhara is such a wonderful place to visit during the evening.

DAY – 4 DRIVE FROM POKHARA TO KADE TREK TO BHADAURE (1670 m) 1 HOUR DRIVE 2.5 HOUR TREK
We continue our trip by a drive to Kande. Kande is only about an hour away from Pokhara in a vehicle and lies at an altitude of 1770 meters. The Kande is famous for being the starting point of the Australian Base Camp Trek and Dhampus village trek.
Our trek starts from Kande. From Kande we will follow the steep trail for 2 to 3 hours that will lead us to Bhadaure. Camping in Bhadaure will add an extra adventure to our trek.

DAY – 5 BHADAURE TO BHANJYANG (2065 m) 4 HOURS TREK
Our trek is not that difficult today. We will walk through the gentle climb from Bhadaure to Bhanjyang. The trail will offer the mix culture of Brahmin, Gurung and Kami communities.

DAY – 6 BHANJYANG TO PANCHASE HILL (2500 m) AND BACK TO BHANJYANG
We start our trek in early morning. If you reach earlier you will get to see the beautiful sunrise view from the top of the hill. We will climb the stone steps, probably 500 meters to reach the Panchase peak. The Panchase peak is the highest point of the trek lying at an altitude of 2500 meters. From the top of the hill, one can see the amazing vistas of the mountain peaks such as Machhapuchhare, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Lamjung and Manaslu. It will be a wonderful idea to have your breakfast on the top of the hill and the opposite to panorama of the mountains. After breakfast on the hill top, we will start descending back to Bhanjyang.

DAY – 7 TREK FROM BHANJYANG TO GHATE CHEENA 4-5 HOURS TREK
After a morning in Bhanjyang, we will walk to Ghate Cheena. We will walk almost for 4 to 5 hours before we reach Ghate Chena for our overnight stay.

DAY – 8 TREK FROM GHATE CHEENA TO NAUDANDA AND THEN DRIVE TO POKHARA
We descend slowly along the jeep trail for most of the way. On the way, we pass through numerous villages and also get to meet and interact with the children in the villages. After having lunch in Naudanda, we will continue our journey after some rest. Afterwards we will drive on a private vehicle to reach Pokhara. The drive provides the natural and artistic views on the way.

DAY – 9 SIGHTSEEING IN POKHARA
We will spend a day exploring Pokhara. Pokhara is a beautiful place to explore the natural beauty. The city of lakes offers the visitors with several pristine lakes like Phewa, Rupa, and Begnas. You can also choose to go for cycling around the city.
You can also choose to Hike to Sarangkot in the morning for the sunrise view. A short hike to the World peace pagoda is also another brilliant idea during the stay in Pokhara. In the evening, you can enjoy the evening excitement of the city. Whether you want to experience the local food and culture, or want a lavish dinner in a five star western restaurant, Pokhara will not leave you upset.
DAY – 10 DRIVE FROM POKHARA TO KATHMANDU
Our trek to Panchase Hill almost ends now. Today we will be heading back to Kathmandu. The scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes us through the greenery and the local livelihood of rural Nepal. Once you arrive Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. Since this will be your last night in Nepal, you can choose to enjoy the last dinner in a real cultural way.

DAY – 11 FINAL DEPARTURE
Your tour ends here. Our representative will drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport to wave you final goodbye. We wish you a happy journey back home and hope to see you soon.
