The hike offers the hikers with the breathtaking views of the Annapurna, Fishtail, Himchuli, and some other snow-covered peaks.

Drive to Kande and start hiking to Australian Base Camp (3 hours hike)

The hike starts from a drive to Kande from Pokhara. The duration of the drive from Pokhara to Kande is about an hour. The trek is approximately three hours walk. Australian Base Camp lies at an altitude of 2100 meters, thus being an appropriate height for the beginners and the children. Standing on the Australian Base Camp, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the amazing Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Lamjung Himal, and Fishtail.

Australian Base Camp to Dhampus Village

After some beautiful snaps in the Australian Base Camp, we continue our hike towards the Dhampus village. Dhampus is a beautiful village with the majority of the Gurung community. The natural beauty of the village also adds an extra flavor in the trip. We will have lunch in the village and spend some time exploring the village area. Dhampus village is a beautiful viewpoint which offers you the amazing views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhare peaks. The stunning mountain views will melt your heart for sure.

Dhampus to Phedi and drive to Pokhara

Our hike continues to descend to Phedi. Hiking from Dhampus to Phedi is quite fun where you will walk across the village, the local people engaging in their farms and the group of domestic animals. Upon reaching Phedi, our hiking comes to the end. We will now drive back to Pokhara.
